Takeaway Creative is a social enterprise created by Colintraive resident Fiona Page. It is the first service of its kind in the UK and a small revolution in the way people access activities. It will offer a ‘menu’ that includes a wide range of activities to be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home, such as painting, photography, traditional games and new languages, all led by trusted and experienced practitioners.

Fiona got inspiration for her business after she was unable to source a range of quality creative activities for her mum to enjoy at home. She has been developing her idea since November 2015 as a participant in Vital Spark, a dynamic initiative supporting local social entrepreneurs.

Vital Spark, delivered by national social enterprise agency Firstport together with InspirAlba, is supporting Argyll residents to come up with ideas that benefit the local area and operates three hubs in Dunoon, Rothesay and Campbeltown.

Fiona Page, Takeaway Creative founder, explains:

Takeaway Creative is ideal if you live rurally and have limited access to the arts and hobbies, want to learn at your own pace, or just want to unleash your creativity and have some fun!

Takeaway Creative is launching on 12th of March 2016. Meet Fiona for tea and coffee and find out more about what activities Takeaway Creative could bring into your home, in Rothesay library from 10am to 11.30am and in Colintraive village hall from 2.30pm to 4pm.
