Three projects run by young adults are the first to be awarded funding through Pounds for Purpose, a new programme delivered by social enterprise development agency Firstport.
Gerard McKenzie-Govan, founder of The Blankfaces, was one of 20 individuals to receive a share of £200,000 funding from social enterprise development agency, Firstport. The grants were awarded as part of the Scottish Government’s Social Entrepreneurs Fund.
