Scottish Social Enterprise Awards 2018 open for applications

Celebrating the best of Scottish social enterprise, the Social Enterprise Awards Scotland are open for applications - DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 20 JULY

Held in Autumn each year, the awards are the biggest celebration of social enterprise in Scotland, recognising innovation, impact and success in social enterprise – businesses that aim to change the world for the better.

Last year's One to Watch winners were Projekt 42. Founded by Start It and Build It awardee, Sara Hawkins, Projekt 42 is a community-based gym in Leith which aims to make exercise and fitness accessible and affordable for everyone. Do you have what it takes to win this year?

This year there are seven awards categories:

Category 1 – Social Enterprise of the Year Scotland

Category 2 – One to Watch

Category 3 – Prove It: Social Impact

Category 4 – ‘Buy Social’ – Market Builder

Category 5 – Environmental Social Enterprise

Category 6 – Social Enterprise Champion Scotland – under 26

Category 7 – Social Enterprise Champion Scotland – over 26

The winner of each award will receive a fabulous prize package including free membership of Social Enterprise Scotland, a ticket to the UK Social Enterprise Awards 2018 and a unique artwork trophy.

The winners in categories 1 – 5 will also automatically be shortlisted for the UK Social Enterprise Awards.
