The enterprise also provides a range of volunteering opportunities and has a large team of volunteers, more than 50, who help with a variety of tasks including working in their Bookshop and Charity Shop, fundraising, planning events and, in the case of a small group of volunteers, working directly with their clients.
The team currently work with 55 clients providing a mix of social activities, training placements, events and advocacy all with the aim of increasing their confidence, life-skills and community involvement. The services to clients which Caberfeidh Horizons currently delivers are funded by profits from the Bookshop, Charity Shop, fund raising activities and grant funding.
Caberfeidh Horizons said: "Our very grateful thanks go to the ongoing support of our generous sponsors, donations from the public, our dedicated staff, committed volunteers and board of directors, our customers, many clients and members of the local community without whom we would not exist. These are the people who have made our Social Enterprise a success and a vibrant part of the local community."
