Martin Dorchester said: "It's been an honour and pleasure to chair Firstport these last four years. It has firmly established itself as the premier organisation for Social Entrepreneurs in Scotland and the wider UK. I wish Peter every success as its new chair".
Peter Shakeshaft said: "Martin will be a hard act to follow since he brought so much to the table and steered the organisation through an important growth phase. I am honoured to be asked to be chair of Firstport and will strive to continue the good work that Martin accomplished. Social enterprise is an increasingly important part of our economy and Firstport does a first class job in supporting a whole range of early stage social entrepreneurs. I look forward to supporting that work."
