Alice Blocksidge

Alice recently joined the What if…Girvan programme looking to develop a holistic therapy service in South Ayrshire.

Alice is a qualified complimentary therapist specialising in aromatherapy, reflexology, massage and stress management. Her holistic therapy service would provide therapies and workshops to people in the community who are looking for a more holistic approach to managing their health.

She also wants to explore the potential of developing an integrative healthcare model in South Carrick, where health services are coordinated across the area.

Alice said:

I am interested in exploring the potential health benefits of providing holistic therapies to people who are experiencing health conditions such as fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety, chronic pain etc. I feel many people in the community would benefit from holistic therapies in conjunction with conventional methods which may provide people with more control over their health and wellbeing.

The business support and funding available through What if…Girvan will help Alice make the connections and develop the skills needed to progress her venture.
